Welcome to OmniTick Economy Simulator ("the Service", "the Application", "we", "us", or "our"), available at https://economy-simulator.omnitick.online. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the simulation. By accessing or playing the game, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

OmniTick Economy Simulator is a free, browser-based, educational macroeconomic strategy simulator. It models municipal finance, demographic consumption, enterprise supply chains, and public infrastructure under a strictly conserved closed-loop monetary ledger. The application is provided free of charge for learning, gaming, and simulation purposes.

2. Eligibility & Account Responsibilities

You may access OmniTick Economy Simulator without creating an account using Guest Mode, or you may voluntarily authenticate using Google Sign-In to enable cloud saving across devices.

• Eligibility: You must be of legal age to form a binding agreement in your jurisdiction, or have parental or guardian consent.
• Account Security: When using Google Sign-In, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your Google account credentials. Any activity conducted under your authenticated session is your responsibility.
• Accurate Access: You agree not to impersonate another person, use credentials that you are not authorized to use, or circumvent identity verification safeguards.

3. Guest Mode Limitations

Guest Mode allows immediate gameplay directly in your browser without logging in:

• All game state is held solely in your local browser memory.
• No data is transmitted to or saved in our Cloudflare D1 database.
• If you close your browser tab, refresh your browser, or clear your cache, your progress will be permanently lost unless you sign in with Google to establish a cloud save.
• We bear no responsibility for lost progress resulting from browser closures or navigation in Guest Mode.

4. Cloud Save & Load Functionality

For authenticated players, the Application provides cloud-synchronized game saves via Cloudflare D1:

• Revision & Concurrency Protection: Cloud saves utilize optimistic concurrency control. If the same settlement is updated concurrently in multiple tabs or devices, conflicting writes are rejected to protect against accidental state corruption.
• Storage Quotas: Save state payloads are constrained to 512 KB per settlement to ensure network efficiency and database stability.
• Data Deletion: You may rename, duplicate, or delete your saved games at any time through the in-game Save Slots manager. Deleting a game removes the corresponding records and snapshot history from the database.

5. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct

You agree to use OmniTick Economy Simulator in accordance with all applicable laws and respect the shared nature of the service. You agree not to:

• Attempt to bypass, disable, or tamper with security features, including CSRF protections, rate limiting, or Google token signature verification.
• Send automated, scripted, or abusive request floods (DDoS, automated scraping, or spamming endpoints) exceeding reasonable gameplay usage (enforced at 120 requests/minute per client).
• Forge or manipulate HTTP headers, origin information, or session cookies.
• Attempt to access, modify, or delete another user's saved settlements or database records.
• Exploit any security vulnerability or bug to harm the service or other users.

6. Intellectual Property & Permitted Use

The source code, isometric rendering engine, game design, user interface components, and simulation balance algorithms comprising OmniTick Economy Simulator are the intellectual property of the OmniTick Project and its contributors.

• You are granted a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and play the simulator in your web browser for non-commercial educational and entertainment purposes.
• You may not reproduce, redistribute, sell, or commercialize the software or assets without prior written consent from the operator.
• All trademarks, logos, and brand elements displayed are the property of their respective owners.

7. Service Availability & Maintenance

OmniTick Economy Simulator is hosted on Cloudflare's global edge network. While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuous service:

• The service may be temporarily unavailable for scheduled maintenance, updates, or technical adjustments.
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature, game balance rule, or aspect of the simulation at any time without notice.
• We are not liable for any downtime, connection dropouts, or inability to access the application.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OMNITICK ECONOMY SIMULATOR IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE OPERATOR, DEVELOPERS, OR CONTRIBUTORS OF OMNITICK ECONOMY SIMULATOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SIMULATION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to digital educational software in the operator's home jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved amicably through good-faith communication before seeking formal legal remedy.
